Runorder.com Makes Sure You Get Tomatoes, Not Potatoes.
RunOrder is a cutting edge and innovative cloud based software helping restaurants find new food distributors and order from all their existing distributors in one place.
For restaurants, there are few things more irritating than having to order from all your food distributors after a long day of taking care of customers. Leaving long voicemails or emails to your 5+ food distributors is annoying; and even if there is online ordering, you can never find anything you need.
For food distributors, reaching new restaurants is the name of the game. Having the freshest and highest quality foods is no use if no one knows about you. Faxes and mailers are 'ok'; however, the Internet is becoming the first place that new restaurants go to when they want to find the things they need.
RunOrder.com solves the problem of long emails and voicemails and helps food distributors reach new restaurants.
To find new distributors, restaurants simply type in the item they are searching for and a list of food distributors quickly pops up. There is no complex price comparison or hoops to jump through. If the distributor has the item, it's listed, and the restaurant can contact the distributor with just one click.
Ordering is streamlined as well. Restaurants add the distributors they are currently using and can quickly start ordering. Items are listed by "Most Ordered," "Recently Ordered," or "Whole Product List." The items you order the most are all on one screen. No more scrolling and searching through the thousands of items.
Our listing service for food distributors will launch mid-July 2012.

Runorder.com was founded by Lea Pische. She is Italian and came to America 2 years ago. She left Italy but her Italian accent stayed. So sometimes, she would leave long voicemails for a case of tomatoes and get potatoes instead. How are you supposed to make pizza with potatoes?
Long emails and voicemails orders at the end of the night sucks.
Lea also couldn't find any good food distributors when she first came. She tried asking her neighboring restaurants, but they were mostly Chinese take-out places.
So there you go, that's our story.
If you would like any more information, please feel free to contact us at the email above.
Sincerely,
Lea
P.S. We weren't kidding about Lea coming from an extensive technological background. She has been featured in such publications as TechCrunch and Business Insider. We'd be glad to send our cut outs :)
