Bradford, PA --- August 15, 2007 --- The restaurant at The Lodge at Glendorn, Pennsylvania's only Relais & Chateaux member and a AAA Four Diamond Property, has just received its first DiRōNA Award of Excellence from the Distinguished Restaurants of North America, and another Wine Spectator Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine.

The restaurant management team of Executive Chef/Wine Director Charles Zeran and Pastry Chef/ Dining Room Manager Colleen Zeran (a former divorce attorney and a political consultant, respectively), can be very proud of a bevy of critical acclaim received thus far in 2007. And in August, the Distinguished Restaurants of North America issued an invitation for membership and its DiRōNA Award of Excellence to the restaurant, located at this unique lodge in rural Pennsylvania. DiRōNA is the only independent and anonymous restaurant inspection program that operates across North America. An extensive criteria and impartial inspection is used to evaluate of all aspects of the dining experience. A restaurant eligible to display DiRōNA certification is presenting the highest distinction to be achieved in the dining and hospitality communities.

The restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner daily, serving a limited ala carte menu for lunch and a different five course tasting menu with wine pairings each night for dinner. The cuisine is eclectic and contemporary, drawing influence and ingredients from all over the world. Fresh seafood, game meats and produce are flown in daily.

Glendorn is not only the only Relais & Chateaux member in Pennsylvania and one of only ten Pennsylvania holders of both the DiRōNA and Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence, it is also one of only two Relais & Chateaux in the world to also be an Orvis endorsed fly fishing lodge.
