SBE Restaurant Group Welcomes New Chief Operating Officer

Los Angeles, November 17, 2005- Sam Nazarian, CEO and founder of SBE Entertainment Group (SBE) proudly announced today the appointment of Arich Berghammer to Chief Operating Officer (COO) for SBE's restaurant division, SBE Restaurant Group (SBERG). As COO of SBERG, Berghammer brings over 20 years of hospitality expertise. In this role, Berghammer will lead all aspects of the company's operations, including restaurant procedures, purchasing, financial objectives and personnel. Berghammer is responsible for ensuring the successful operational effectiveness for all restaurants, supper clubs and nightclubs owned by and/or affiliated with SBERG.

Overseeing the strategic development and execution of all SBERG initiatives, Berghammer will guide all openings and expansions and implement procedures to continually increase profits. He will oversee personnel development as well as the establishment of staff training programs. He will also assist with the coordination of restaurant marketing and public relations efforts.

Prior to joining SBE Restaurant Group, Berghammer served as Chief of Staff for House of Blues Entertainment Inc (HOB). During his tenure with House of Blues, Berghammer was responsible for the successful execution of all venue openings. In this position, Berghammer successfully established venues in Cleveland, San Diego and Atlantic City while he recruited, mentored, trained and developed new management hires for each location. Previously at HOB, Berghammer functioned as National Senior Director of Operations. In this role, he was responsible for the overall profit and loss for ten entertainment venues nationwide.

Berghammer also served as General Manager for the House of Blues, West Hollywood. In this role, Berghammer was responsible for managing annual sales and all associated costs and profits. He is credited with growing sales over $4 million, increasing special event revenue by $5 million, increasing EBITDA by 5% and reducing total labor costs by $650,000. During his tenure as General Manager, HOB West Hollywood was awarded by Pollstar as "Best Live Music Venue Operator in the World for 1500 person capacity."

Berghammer began his food service career with various high-level director and management positions at several well-known dining destinations including Water Grill in Los Angeles, CA and Ocean Ave. Seafood in Santa Monica, CA.

Berghammer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in Business and International Communications. Berghammer also currently serves as Immediate Past President of the Sunset Strip Business Improvement District, Vice President and CFO of the West Hollywood Convention and Visitors Bureau and President of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
