Sea Catch Restaurant and Raw Bar, noted for its fresh and hard-to-find seafood delicacies as well as its winning wine list, has chosen to showcase its wares with casual monthly "Soirees". Executive Chef Jeff Shively creates a well-paired tasting menu of specialties, artisenal cheeses and homemade desserts. Visit our website at www.SeaCatchRestaurant.com to view featured wines and tasting menu. Admission is $30 per person (tax and gratuity included). Sea Catch Restaurant is located at 1054 31st. N.W., in the heart of Georgetown. For more information or to reserve for the July Sea Catch Soiree, please contact Traci Allen at 202-337-4807.
"We all enjoy food and wine pairings, but few have the time for a three hour wine dinner, and even fewer want to spend the money," said Brian Reymann, General Manager of Sea Catch. "These Soirees allow us to offer the same kind of educational experience about food and wine pairings, but at a portion of the price and in a more inviting setting. The response from our loyal customers has been overwhelmingly positive."
The theme for the August Sea Catch Soiree is Sauvignon Blanc, which will take place Tuesday, August 10 from 6 PM-8 PM. The event will highlight wines from around the world in addition to a menu designed to pair perfectly by Chef Shively. The menu for the August Sea Catch Soiree follows.
