Sea Island Resorts Announces Key Appointment To F & B Team
Sea Island Resorts (www.seaisland.com) recently announced the key appointment of Mr. Randy Caparoso to its Food and Beverage team. Mr.Caparoso, renowned restaurateur and wine professional, has joined Sea Island as Chef Sommelier. Home to the legendary Cloister Hotel and the AAA Five Diamond and Mobil 5-Star Lodge, Sea Island consistently strives to recruit the finest talent in the world.
With 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a founding
partner of Roy Yamaguchi's famed Roy's Restaurants, Mr. Caparoso will
play a pivotal role in bringing a global presence to the wine program at
Sea Island Resorts. Throughout his stellar career, he has been called a
"genius in motion" and has challenged his peers in the wine business to
work harder, raise the bar and to set, rather than follow, the trends.
Mr. Caparoso will work to enhance the wine experience at The Lodge and
The Cloister as he advances the wine lists to a new level and creates
unique food and wine events that pair the world's finest winemakers with
chefs from Sea Island.
