Celebrity Chef Brian Malarkey’s Restaurant Offers Dinner, Happy Hour and Late Night Bites

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 27, 2015) – Searsucker Las Vegas is pleased to announce that the Las Vegas incarnation of the social dining restaurant is now open to the public. Located in Caesars Palace, Searsucker serves New American Classic cuisine, hand-crafted cocktails and craft beers. By utilizing a mix of modern and rustic materials to create a warm and inviting setting complete with lounge area, open kitchen and a private dining room, the overall layout and feel of the space factors well into Searsucker’s ‘fabric of social dining’ concept - aimed to make guests feel as if they are enjoying a great dinner party with close friends. Beginning today, the restaurant will be open nightly for dinner, happy hour, and late night bites.

Chef Brian Malarkey
Winning judge/mentor of ABC’s hit reality series, “The Taste,” and “Top Chef” finalist, Brian Malarkey’s approach to food and dining closely resembles his boisterous and fun-loving personality. Bold flavors and playful profiles inform the bevy of, fun and shareable dishes at Searsucker’s latest outpost. Putting a re-imagined twist on classic American dishes, Chef Brian Malarkey’s menu offers something for everyone. Highlights from the menu include Spicy shrimp & Grits; a 38 oz. Tomahawk ribeye and Squid with “sweet heat.” The sustainable menu will utilize local ingredients where possible and rely heavily on the use of regional seafood.

Chef de Cuisine Jean Paul Labadie
To fulfill the promise of the outstanding culinary experience that guests have come to know and expect from the San Diego, CA and Austin, TX locations, Chef Brian Malarkey has put in place a talented team including chef de cuisine, Jean Paul Labadie.

Born in Puerto Rico, Jean Paul Labadie grew up in a culturally diverse kitchen, cooking alongside his Spanish grandparents and Italian great-grandmother, learning the family secrets and striving to replicate their culinary mastery for creating delectable dishes. His impressive culinary background has exceeded more than 20 years gracing the kitchens of several well-known establishments in Las Vegas.

Interior Design
Designed by acclaimed designer Thomas Schoos, who has designed the likes of Searsucker’s San Diego locations and sister brand Herringbone, Searsucker utilizes a mix of modern and rustic materials to create a warm and inviting setting complete with lounge area, open kitchen and a private dining room. The social dining experience, aimed to make guests feel as if they are enjoying a dinner party with close friends, brings together Schoos environment with flavorful dishes, creative cocktails and fun, upbeat music provided by live DJs.

“A lot of Malarkey” Tuesday Industry Nights
Beginning, Tuesday, April 7, Searsucker Las Vegas will launch “A lot of Malarkey” industry nights furthering the brand’s concept of the “social dining experience” to new heights. Searsucker will become the place to see-and-be-seen by key industry locals longing for a casual night out coupled with Chef Brian Malarkey’s shareable signature bites and comforting side dishes to make for a weekly high energy dinner party that cannot be beat.
