Seattle's Ba Bar Launches New Cocktail Menu Unveils Expanded Bar Seating
Seattleites swarm to Ba Bar for authentic Vietnamese street food, French inspired pastries, and an innovative take on classic cocktails. Well, things just got more inspired in the cocktail department, and now guests have more space to enjoy said cocktails!
Owner, Eric Banh, has added high top tables to the bar area which expands the bar seating by 24 to make a total of 41 seats available for guests. He also spruced things up with new bar stools in the bar area.
Meanwhile, in the drink department, bar manager, Fairness Peck, and Banh have spent the last few months working with the Ba Bar staff and Alcohology Consultants, Andrew Friedman of Liberty Bar, Jay Kuehner of Sambar, and Casey Robison of Barrio, to expand upon and refine the cocktail menu.
"We've always had interesting cocktails," say Banh, "but I really wanted to bring the level of the cocktails up to that of the food."
Peck, named bar manager in January, has been at Ba Bar since day one and brings much enthusiasm and creativity to his position. Prior to joining the Ba Bar team, Peck worked behind the bar at Branzino and Monsoon East.
"It was great working with the Alcohology guys," says Peck. "Our team knew what flavor profiles we wanted, and Andrew's team was able to take our vision and with a little tweak here or there, nail what we were shooting for, exactly."
