Native to the rain forests of Queensland, Australia, lemon myrtle is 90% citral (that which gives lemons, lemongrass and lemon myrtle their lemony scents) and described as “more lemon than lemon.” Considering lemons only contain 3 to 10% citral, lemon myrtle is a lemon explosion for the senses.
