Sfm Names New Officers & Directors

During its 24th annual national conference, held recently in Anaheim, Calif. the Society for Foodservice Management (SFM) named new officers and directors for 2004.

The Societys new president is Ronald V. Ehrhardt, FMP, Prudential Financial, Newark, N. J. Other SFM officers include president-elect Jim Wulforst, Duke University, Durham, N.C.; treasurer Russ Benson, FMP, MBNA America Bank, N.A., Wilmington, DE; immediate past president Jay B. Silverstein, Credit Suisse First Boston, N.Y.; and senior associate Marc Fuchs, M. Tucker Company, Inc., Harrison, N.J.

The newly elected board members of SFM are George Ardelean, Valley Services, Inc., Jackson, Miss.; Christopher Brady, FCSI, Romano Gatland, Lindenhurst, NY; Anthony W. Morro, FMP, Microsoft, Redmond, Wash.; Kathy Sanders, Wachovia, Charlotte, N.C.; and Charles V. Stock, JPMorgan Chase, Jersey City, N.J.

Remaining on the board are David Caraska, Restaurant Associates, Palo Alto, Calif.; Gary J. Crompton, ARAMARK Corporation, Westfield, N.J.; Matthew Merson, Ossining, N.Y.; Rick Postiglione, Compass Group North America, Rye Brook, NY; Sally Saltzbart-Minier, Lehman Brothers, N.Y.; and Mark S. Toomey, Sodexho, Lexington, Mass.

Also during this years conference, SFM past presidents unveiled the associations 25th Anniversary logo, that will be used to promote SFMs commitment to the history and future of onsite foodservice.
