Slow Food Offers 10-week & 3-week Regional Cooking Programs In Italy For 2006!

Slow Food has partnered with Ital.Cook. to design and offer the 10-Week Slow Food Master Italian Cooking Program and Slow Food 3-Week Regional Themed Courses in Italy for 2006!

Slow Food Master Italian Cooking Program sessions running since January 2003 have proven a great success among culinary graduates and professionals from around the world in food-related industries. Here regional experts specially selected for these Slow Food programs, travel to the learning facility located in Jesi, Italy, bringing with them local ingredients to teach about the techniques and dishes of their region. Classes are hands-on and weekends are booked with gastronomic excursions to artisanal food producers around Italy. Moreover, class attendees have at their option the opportunity to spend up to 9 additional months in Italy, continuing their Slow Food culinary studies at a Slow Food-affiliated restaurant or producer.

And for even more flexible options, 2006 holds Slow Food culinary educational opportunities by way of the 3-Week Regional Themed Courses. Designed in the same spirit as the 10-Week Master program, these 3-Week courses, narrow the specific regional focus allowing professionals to create workable continuing education plans that can reasonably fit their schedules. What's more is that these 3-Week sessions can be utilized as building blocks toward the Master Certificate granted to attendees of the 10-Week program.

Fully-rooted in the spirit of the Slow Food movement these culinary programs are designed to teach the art of regional authentic Italian cuisine.
