SPIKE TV'S "BAR RESCUE" BRINGS COMPETITIVE TIPS TO 2012 NIGHTCLUB & BAR CONVENTION AND TRADE SHOW
"Bar Rescue," Spike TV's successful original series giving failing nightlife venues a last chance, will bring competitive tips and tricks to the 2012 Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show (www.ncbshow.com), America's biggest and most important bar, nightclub and beverage event of the year. The NCB Show annually brings more than 31,000 industry professionals together to meet with suppliers, network, learn and have fun. The 2012 conference will take place March 12-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
"Bar Rescue" will bring several of its featured experts to the NCB Show to teach attendees how to make creative yet simple cocktails, enhance menus and design a socially interactive space, among other valuable tips for the nightclub, bar and restaurant industry.
Highlighted at the convention is Jon Taffer, star and co-executive producer of Spike TV's "Bar Rescue" and president of the Nightclub & Bar Media Group, who will deliver "No Excuses: Taffer's Simple Science of Success" keynote on Wednesday, March 14. Keynotes are free to all NCB Show badged attendees.
Other Spike TV "Bar Rescue" recommended sessions at the 2012 NCB Show include:
- On Monday, March 12, Elayne Duke, one of Spike TV's "Bar Rescue" experts and a mixologist/ambassador for Diageo, will demonstrate how to create, sell and serve simple yet enticing cocktails even at the busiest restaurants and bars.
- On Tuesday, March 13, Ron Newman and Greg Newman, co-founders of the Southern California chain, Baja Sharkeez Restaurant Group, will share innovative ideas, systems, procedures and controls that have proven to be the key to maximum profits, loyal customers, staying two steps ahead of competitors and increasing volume to reach your ultimate potential.
- Also on Tuesday, March 13, "Bar Rescue" expert and president of Nancy Hadley Fine Art & Consulting, Nancy Hadley, will conduct a session entitled "The Science of Design." Design and flow are two of the most important aspects of any venue - in this session, Hadley discusses how to look at your venue with fresh eyes to create a better overall customer experience.
- Chef Brian Duffy, consultant and "Bar Rescue" expert, will teach attendees the secrets of how to enhance or change your current menu while staying ahead of the curve, making your food program stand out from the competition. His session is on Wednesday, March 14.
All NCB Show attendees are invited to the Bar Rescue Happy Hour event at LAVO at the Palazzo on Monday, March 12 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. At the event, sponsored by Bevintel and Spike TV, attendees have the opportunity to meet Jon Taffer and enjoy passed hors d'ouevres and drink specials.
