Sport Restaurant & Comcast Pair For Special 3d Showing Of World Cup Final On July 11th

The finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup are scheduled to be shown on Sunday, July 11th at 10:30 a.m. and the best seats in town will be at SPORT Restaurant & Bar, as the sports hot spot pairs with Comcast for a spectacular 3D showing. The game is available to all Comcast customers in 3D on ESPN 3, channel 898. To view it, Comcast customers must have an HD set top box, a 3D television set and 3D glasses. However, for those who don't own a 3D television set and are curious about the new technology, this is their chance to see what all the excitement is about while enjoying chef/owner John Howie's great menu and special beer-on-tap pricing of $3 for domestic and $4 for micros. Selections include nut brown, amber, pale ale, lager, hefeweizen and an IPA.

To put this viewing experience in perspective, this is not the 3D technology of the flimsy old blue and red glasses or even of the movie Avatar. This latest, next generation 3D technology combines a state-of-the-art 3D television set with glasses that can cost as much as $150 a pair to give the sports fan a unique viewing experience. With soccer, 3D technology gives you the feeling you are actually sitting in the stands watching the game from the best seat in the house.
