Spring Has Sprung With A New Menu And New Chef At Birch River Grill - An America
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (March 2007)) - Spring has sprung up new menu items at Birch River Grill - An American Kitchen (75 W. Algonquin Rd; Arlington Heights, IL). Birch River Grill's new chef John Ayaleanos has added a number of tasty items to the menu.
Be sure to try new offerings such as the Meatloaf Tower ($13), served with crispy haystack onions, Yukon gold mashed potatoes topped with a roasted tomato glaze or one of the new salad and sandwich creations like BBQ Chicken Salad ($9), mixed greens, roasted corn & poblano salsa, tomatoes, cucumbers, scallions, jack cheese, topped with buttermilk ranch dressing; "Black and Bleu" Salad ($14), 4 oz. filet mignon, chopped romaine hearts, red onions, crumbled blue cheese dressing and Chipotle Turkey Bacon Club ($9), smoked turkey, peppered bacon, chipotle goat cheese in between toasted nine grain bread.
Allow your taste buds to be tempted by Birch River Grill's new entr�e selections such as Birch River Rainbow Trout ($15), served with saut�ed spinach, Yukon gold mashed potatoes with grape tomato caper vinaigrette; Artichoke Linguini Aglio Olio ($13), artichoke hearts, fresh arugula, sun dried tomato, tossed in garlic herbed olive oil; Blue Cheese & Walnut Crusted Filet Mignon ($28), 6 oz. filet, melted blue cheese, toasted walnuts served with grilled asparagus, whipped potatoes with horseradish bordelaise. "Our regulars will be pleased that our signature Broasted Chicken ($11) remains on the menu," says Birch River Grill's general manager Joshua Barber. "So, sit back, relax and enjoy our chicken or other menu standards such as Yankee Pot Roast ($14), Apple Cured Double Cut Pork Chops ($18), and Cedar Planked Maple Salmon ($19).
