Spring Sake Tasting Dinner At Nisen Sushi
Nisen Sushi will be having a spring sake tasting dinner on Monday, May 19th. There will be a reception at 7 p.m. with the dinner following at 7:30 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $80 per person plus tax and gratuity and includes six courses and six premium sakes. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Nisen or by emailing saketasting@nisensushi.com. The menu is as follows:

Tuna Saffron Blue Shrimp with Thai pepper and basil vinaigrette

King Crab Inaniwa Pasta Salad with seared Alaska crab top on inaniwa pasta with spicy aioli and served with citrus garlic dressing

Broiled Local Sea Scallops served in the shell with sake braised leeks, osetra caviar and crisp artichokes
Tedorigawa "Iki na Onna" (Daiginjo)
4th Course
Morel Wagyu Roll with morel mushroom and celery rolled a top with seared Kobe beef with truffle mushroom sauce
Miyasaka "Yamahai 50 Nama" (Nama Ginjo)
5th Course
Ginger Roasted Poussin with fava beans, shishito peppers, natural bacon and sweet corn sauce
Kamoizumi "Nigori Ginjo" (Deluxe Nigori)

Nisen Sushi is open for Lunch Tuesday - Friday from 12 - 3 p.m.; Dinner Tuesday - Sunday 5 - 10 p.m.; Lounge open Tuesday -Thursday 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. and Thursday - Sunday 10 p.m. - 1 a.m. They also have happy hour every Friday from 5 - 7 p.m.
