@sqc Restaurantbar Presents Pre-performance Prix Fixe

@SQC RESTAURANTBAR PRESENTS
PRE-PERFORMANCE PRIX FIXE
Kicks off June 9th with Free CDs, Magazines, and Tickets

June, 2004 - Chef Scott Campbell of @SQC RestaurantBar has established himself not only as a pioneer of casual fine dining on the Upper West Side, but as a hub for the arts where artists, writers, thinkers, politicians and food lovers mingle and eat. Located only blocks from some of New York's finest cultural venues - theaters, cabarets and cinemas, and of course, Lincoln Center - it's only logical that the restaurant should now introduce a special Pre-Performance Prix Fix menu.

Taking in a movie or a show can be an expensive proposition - between transportation, (baby sitter), dinner and the show. In an effort to make a night-on-the-town more accessible, @SQC RestaurantBar will kick off the new Pre-Performance menu, on Wednesday, June 9th. Rather than be confined to a set Prix Fixe menu, patrons can select any appetizer, any "Intermediare" and any dessert from the regular menu (including specials), from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Monday through Friday, for $30.04. To kick it off on June 9th, the first 150 Pre-Performance guests will receive a free copy of Time Out New York (to help them select post-meal entertainment), a CD - "The New Generation of Deutsche Grammophon." In addition, @SQC will have a series of drawings for a limited number of tickets through July 4th to area performances, starting with the New York Philharmonic's summer season and the New York City Ballet. (Tickets are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash value. Dates are subject to availability.)

Scott and Linda Campbell have turned their restaurant into a true cultural catalyst, hosting free author readings, tastings, and round-table lectures on food, the arts and more. Chef Scott Campbell's relationship with Lincoln Center goes back more than a decade, when he was first approached to cater the press opening for the New York Philharmonic - and he has done so every single year since. Last year, @SQC was the only restaurant involved in the 160th anniversary celebration of the Philharmonic (among other things, Campbell created 2000 mini birthday cakes for the entire audience).
