Star Chef Chris Parsons Celebrates Parsons Table One Year Anniversary - What A Year It Has Been!
Winchester, MA
Chris Parsons, one of Boston's Star Chefs and Chef/Owner of Parsons Table in Winchester, MA celebrates his restaurant's One Year Anniversary on Sunday, March 6. The party is a benefit to help rebuild one of Winchester's favorite playgrounds: The Ginn Playground Restoration Project.
The party could be called "What A Year It Has Been" - given that Parsons and his team have earned huge honors these past 12 months. "Best of Boston" honors by Boston Magazine for "Best Locavore Restaurant North of Boston" plus rave critical reviews by The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Boston Magazine and The Improper Bostonian have put this little restaurant that is located a quick 10 minutes outside Boston onto the culinary map.
Parsons competed in the Bocuse D'Or USA Culinary Olympics a week before opening Parsons Table and placed a hugely successful 3rd place up on the podium. He has just returned from Lyon where he watched first-hand the international competition of the Bocuse D'Or.
So what is next on the plate for Parsons and his team? Just trying to bring the best, most thoughtfully created and executed dishes of locally sourced food to the table. The cult-like following of Chris' creamless soups continues to savor his nightly blackboard specials, and the rumours abound re: when he will open "Catch Restaurant" his seafood-centric restaurant in the Boston/Cambridge area. That is all news to come - but for now Chris and his team look forward to celebrating Parsons Table 1 Year Anniversary with their friends on Sunday, March 6.
