Starchefs.com Announces Menu For Its 2010 Rising Stars Gala Revue And Awards Ceremony
StarChefs.com�, the online magazine for culinary insiders, celebrates the StarChefs.com Los Angeles-San Diego Rising Stars Chef Award winners on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows from 7:00pm-9:30pm. Hosted by Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows' Head Chef Jason Prendergast, the Rising Stars Revue is a walk-around tasting gala.
The Rising Star Awards recognize up-and-coming chefs, pastry chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists from the Los Angeles to San Diego area that represent future leaders of the national culinary scene. Candidates are nominated by the StarChefs.com Advisory Board, previous winners, local media, StarChefs.com's editorial staff and through the StarChefs.com website. Winners are chosen by the StarChefs.com editorial team. Over 70 candidates were considered via in person tastings and interviews. "Los Angeles has continued to mature as a food town and developed one of the best pastry scenes in the country," says Antoinette Bruno, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of StarChefs.com
