Starchefs.com Inks E-commerce Deal With Manhattan Grocer Fairway
Gourmet shoppers from New York and beyond will soon only need to go online to visit Fairway Market, the legendary Manhattan fine-foods grocer, to get Fairwaybs top-quality fresh products and amazingly affordable prices.
By clicking to www.StarChefs.com, the Best Food Site on the Internet (U.S. News & World Report), shoppers will be able to buy Fairway products via the exclusive e-commerce agreement the two companies recently signed. Terms are not being disclosed.
The companies said Starchefs.com, which has a food-industry-leading 4.5 million impressions a month, will begin selling Fairway cheeses, specialty foods and hard-to-find produce beginning in October. The deal builds on Fairwaybs two existing stores on Manhattanbs West Side, and marks the first of an array of e-commerce offerings.
