Suzanne Goin And Caroline Styne Open Third Larder At 8500 Burton Way On April 22

The Larder at Burton Way to Offer Breakfast
to Dinner Daily and New Wine Bar

Curbside Pick-Up and In-Room Delivery to Tenants Planned

LOS ANGELES, California; April 18, 2013 - Chef Suzanne Goin and her business partner Caroline Styne unwrap their third location of the Larder concept, a retail operation of freshly prepared foods, bakery selections, packaged artisanal goods and wines, designed for eating in or for takeaway to the public on Monday April 22, 2013. Conceived by Goin and Styne, The Larder at Burton Way will serve the residents of 8500 Burton Way, Los Angeles' newest luxury apartment building from Caruso Affiliated, as well as neighboring residents and businesses for breakfast, lunch and dinner, available for dining in, take away or catering.

The Larder at Burton Way is modeled on the freshly prepared seasonal foods offered at The Larder at Tavern and will include a wine bar with a stunning list curated by Caroline Styne. In addition to the renown bakery treats, market salads and sandwiches made with Tavern breads, this location will add a complete menu of hot dinner items just introduced at the original Larder at Tavern to include Grilled Salmon with Farro, Moroccan Carrots and Charmoula; Devil's Chicken Thighs with Leek, Mustard and Potato; Bucatini and Lamb Meatballs with Spiced Tomato, Crumbled Feta and Black Olives; Slow-Cooked Pork Shoulder with Toasted Cornbread; and Grilled Steak Frites with Barnaise. In the works are plans for online ordering from the Larder website, curb-side pick-up and local delivery.
Patterned from the Larder at Tavern, The Larder at Burton Way presents a design that is clean and contemporary. With a palette of warm grays, tan, greens and blues, the interior includes gray glass tiles, brushed painted wood siding and gray wide plank hardwood floors punctuated by black chairs. Guests may choose window seating at cushioned tufted banquettes or sit at a raised wine bar with leather topped stools. The Larder signature drum shade chandeliers hang over the bar and food display area. Large display cases feature baked goods and prepared foods for take-out; open shelving stores an array of packaged goods, cookbooks and epicurean items. Patrons can easily order from the Larder menu, hand-written on over-sized chalkboards over the counter for easy viewing. Outside there is a sidewalk patio for dining, decorated with modern outdoor furniture, landscaped with potted plants and shrubs and sheltered by a signature charcoal gray awning with white lettering.
The Larder at Burton Way is located on the ground floor at 8500 Burton Way, Suite 200 in Los Angeles, California 90048. Operating hours will be weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The Saturday and Sunday Brunch menu is served between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The public may call 310.278.8060 for information and ordering and view the complete menus at www.larderatburtonway.com.
Since opening Lucques, their flagship restaurant, in 1998, Goin and Styne have built a devoted following and have added two other concepts - A.O.C., their groundbreaking wine bar with a
small plates menu in West Hollywood, and Tavern in Brentwood, where locals gather for Goin's market focused breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes. The Larders are growing too - with a Larder at Tavern and The Larder at Maple Drive - a fourth location - slated for opening at the Tom Bradley International Terminal in June 2013.

This has been a busy year for Goin and Styne, with stunning growth. They relocated A.O.C. to a new address and expanded menu at 8700 West 3rd Street in Los Angeles, The Larder at Tavern will open at the Tom Bradley International Terminal this summer and The A.O.C. Cookbook, with recipes by Goin and wine tips from Styne publishes in October, 2
