Suzanne Goin & Caroline Styne Present The Sunday Suppers At Lucques Book Club Dinner

Suzanne Goin Prepares Classics for an Evening Dedicated to Home Cooks
and Fans of the Award-Winning Cookbook

WHO: LUCQUES, Los Angeles

WHAT: LUCQUES owners Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne present the inaugural Sunday Suppers at Lucques Book Club Dinner designed for fans of Suzanne's James Beard Award-winning cookbook. With a devoted following of home cooks who faithfully reproduce the 130 recipes and menus from the book, Lucques will dedicate the dinner to Sunday Supper Classics.

The dinner was inspired by Oakland, California resident Sigrid Deusberg. Duesberg ran a book fair at the local school a few years ago and discovered that the best-selling book was Sunday Suppers at Lucques. Loving to cook for friends, she gathered a small group of women to meet every 6-8 weeks and work through preparing the 32 menus of the book with a collaborative dinner. Since they started the club in 2009 they have cooked 19 of the menus together and keep a portfolio of notes on each recipe.

Lucques will award a Sunday Suppers dinner for two to the winner of best photo posted on Facebook of a fan's execution of one of Suzanne's Sunday Supper dishes. There will also be a drawing at Lucques on the evening of the dinner to win a copy of Sunday Suppers at Lucques, personalized by Suzanne.
