They've Got Talent! James Beard Foundation Celebrity Chef TOur Comes to Kirkland, WA. Trellis Restaurant on October 25th
Trellis Restaurant Executive Chef Brian Scheehser will host a quintet of America’s top culinary talent at The Heathman Hotel on Saturday, October 25th when the James Beard Foundation’s Celebrity Chef Tour comes to the Pacific Northwest. The gastronomic tour-de-force will feature a multi-course meal prepared by Dana Cree (Blackbird – Chicago, IL), Tory Miller (L’Etoile and Graze - Madison, WI), Scheehser, Dean Shinagawa (Kama’aina Grindz – Everett, WA), Kelly Whitaker (Cart-Driver, Denver, and Basta - Boulder, CO), and Andrew Zimmerman (Sepia – Chicago, IL), complete with wine pairing.
Mirroring the famed dinners at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City, it is a rare chance for foodies to experience the signature dishes of national restaurant luminaries. This is Scheehser’s 4th year hosting the extraordinary event. “Each time we hold this event, I feel so honored to work with such a brilliant group of fellow chefs in bringing a remarkable dining experience to our guests. Where else could they get such a superb taste of the culinary world?“ says Chef Brian.
The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a reception featuring a selection of passed appetizers. Guests will have plenty of opportunity to meet and converse with the chefs and winemakers.
