Tosca Introduces Early Evening Dining Program That Rewards Guests & Charities

Ristorante Tosca, Washington's 2005 "RAMMY" awarded Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year, invites patrons to "Dine at Dusk" from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and enjoy a three-course meal from award winning Chef Cesare Lanfranconi specially priced at $32 (exclusive of tax and gratuity).

Tosca will donate 10% of all sales from the "Dine at Dusk" menu to a selected charity each month. Funds raised will be donated to Food and Friends in November, followed by other charities for December and January.

"We feel very strongly about giving back to the community, " said Proprietor Paolo Sacco. "The 'Dine at Dusk' menu gives our guests a chance to experience many of our finest dishes at a special price while supporting the many worthy charities that have seen a decline in donations since the recent hurricanes hit."

Offered daily from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., the "Dine at Dusk" menu features over half of the contemporary Northern Italian dishes found on Tosca's regular dinner menu including Chestnut flour pappardelle noodles with wild boar meat sauce; Oven roasted veal shank with sautied spinach, roasted new fingerling potatoes and Barolo wine sauce; and Roasted Mediterranean sea bass with a balsamic vinegar sabajon and sautied spinach with pine nuts and raisins. The menu allows guests to select their own three-courses with the choice of one appetizer or pasta, a main course and a dessert.

As an added benefit, guests who are attending the theater or MCI Center can dine at Tosca, and leave their car with the valet and walk over to enjoy the show or game.

Tosca is located just a short walk from the heart of some of the city's most respected theatres, including the Shakespeare Theatre, The Warner Theatre, Fords Theatre and the National Theatre as well as the MCI Center.

Voted as 2005 Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year at the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington's "RAMMY" Awards, Tosca brings Washingtonians the finest in contemporary Northern Italian cuisine. Recently selected to participate in The Food Network's Iron Chef preliminary competition held in Washington, Chef Lanfranconi enjoys sharing his favorite family recipes, as well as reinventing dishes from his homeland in Italy.

Tosca is located at 1112 F Street NW, near Metro Center. For reservations, call (202) 367-1990.
