Touch Catering Kicks Off Touch Football
New Division Gearing Up for Super Bowl Events
The moment the Pittsburgh Steelers won the 2006 Super Bowl, David Tornek, creator and owner of Touch Catering called together his winning team and began tackling their strategy for creating the most memorable and exciting special events, parties and receptions for the 2007 game coming to Miami.
Tornek, together with his partner, Touch Restaurant's Executive Chef, Sean Brasel, opened Touch Football, a division of Touch Catering geared specifically to meet the catering needs of the upcoming Super Bowl in Miami.
Touch Football or "Team Touch" can accommodate any off-site corporate event from 50-5000 guests. "From a catering perspective, this is going to be the Super Bowl of special events. Corporate sponsors and business leaders want a winning team to create a winning event. Touch Catering's Touch Football is a winning bet," said Tornek.
Tornek and Brasel have assembled a talented and experienced team of catering and special event executives who will ensure that each and every party, dinner, reception or special event will be original, memorable and of the same high quality and standards experienced at Touch Catering.
"Everyone at Touch Football is pumped. We are already working on some very exciting Super Bowl events that will have our unique and distinctive touch," Tornek noted.
Since launching two years ago, Touch Catering has been commissioned by dozens of leading businesses and organizations for their culinary creativity. This includes the MTV Video Music Awards, Food and Wine Festival, Miami Film Festival, the Jason Taylor Foundation as well as the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Gala for 1600 guest in January of 2006.
"Touch Catering will always be known for transforming wishes into reality," added Tornek. "We understand our clients needs, their guests' expectations and we're committed to exceeding both by presenting fresh elements and new effects."
Touch Restaurant and Lounge opened in the spring of 2000 and has earned a reputation as one of the most unique dining experiences on South Beach. The restaurant is under the direction of Brasel who has designed what he terms a "modern influenced grill."
