TRIO® SIGNATURE DISH SWEEPSTAKES WINNER EMBARKS ON A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME TRIP TO NESTLÉ PROFESSIONAL® INNOVATION CAMPUS

Through its Triple Play Loyalty program, TRIO® rewarded one lucky foodservice operator last fall with an exclusive trip to the state-of-the-art Nestlé Professional® Customer Innovation Campus (NPCIC). The “Signature Dish Sweepstakes” winner, Michael Bryan, was chosen from more than 300 contestants to gain special insights by collaborating with Nestle professional chefs.

“We created this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help an operator’s business evolve and improve to better serve his customers’ needs,” says Sabrina Wirz, marketing manager for TRIO. “We wanted to give our winner a memorable experience by maximizing his time spent in the kitchen with our professional chefs to learn new recipes and menu concepts to elevate what he’s already doing in his operation for the people in his community who need it most.”

Along with his guest associate, Eric Skypek, Bryan visited the NPCIC to work closely with Chef Alan Archer and Chef Debra Rami on applications and ideas incorporating Nestlé Professional products. They were shown several different recipes and concepts such as the Hungarian Beef Stew with TRIO Low Sodium Brown Gravy Mix and the Spicy Sausage Sauce with TRIO Au Jus.

Bryan is the foodservice director at a non-profit kitchen in Minneapolis, Minn., called RS Eden. Since one of the many challenges a non-profit kitchen faces is providing quality meals with declining funds, the Nestle Professional chefs focused on concepts that could allow Bryan to feed large groups of people on a tight budget. In the end, the guests walked out with a four-week meal plan with delicious, affordable recipes to satisfy the people in their community who rely on RS Eden during times of need.

After the trip, Bryan summed up the experience by saying: “Touring the Nestle Professional facilities, I was struck by how secure and organized the company was, and the staff was as friendly as they were professional. I am grateful for the opportunity.”
