United States Conference Center Chef Of The Year
Chef Leonard Elias C.E.C. Executive Chef/Culinary Director at Aberdeen Woods Conference Center, Peachtree City, GA recently won the International Association of Conference Centers, " Chef of the Year" Thai inspired mystery basket cooking competition. The fast paced thirty-minute competition kicked off with the introduction of two secret ingredients, chicken thighs and whole head-on shrimp along with a pre-determined fifty ingredient general storeroom. Chef Elias's dish was selected for the creative use of ingredients in his "Bang Thai Red Chicken Curry Sates with Shrimp & Cabbage Rolls " Chef Elias will now represent the USA at the International competition in April of 2007 when he will compete against IACC Chefs from Europe, Australia and Canada.
