Valentine's Day At Brasserie Les Halles Downtown
VALENTINES DAY AT BRASSERIE LES HALLES DOWNTOWN
A Romantic Downtown experience with lip smacking food & a Lipstick Reader
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JANUARY, 2004
On Saturday, February 14th, Brasserie Les Halles Downtown celebrates Valentines Day with a special menu, a complementary glass of Charles Heidseick Champagne for every patron, romantic dicor and a Lipstick Reader who will do free readings (for those who dare).
What better way to start a romantic evening but with a glass of Champagne in a casual-yet-elegant fun brasserie atmosphere. The Les Halles experience has been said to be like stepping off the streets of New York into Paris, offering the best of both worlds the romance and food of France infused with New Yorks inimitable buzz and excitement.
The special Valentine specials begin with appetizers that include: Huntres Chaudes Rockefeller (Oysters Gratine on the Half Shell with Pink Champagne Sabayon) or Croustillant Brie de Meaux sur Lit (Crusted Brie on a Bed of Frisie Lettuce with Bacon Vinaigrette). The main courses to entice the palate and inflame the heart are; Carri dAgneau Persille au Jus Naturel (Roasted Rack of Lamb with Risotto Cake with Baby Vegetables, Natural Juices) or Darne de Turbot, au Cur de Betterave (Steamed Turbo with Celeriac Purie, and Beet Emulsion).
The expanded dessert menu offers sweets for the sweethearts such as: Douceur en Chocolat, Compote de Fruits Rouges (Chocolat Molten, Mixed Berry Compote), and Souffli ` la Noix de Coco, Coulis de Fruit de la Passion (Coconut Souffli, Passion Fruit Sauce).
To accompany the Valentine specials, and to punctuate the romantic experience, Les Halles offers a selection of wines by the bottle and by-the-glass from their Wine Spectator award-winning wine list.
While the way to the heart may be through the stomach as the old saying goes, it starts with the lips and on hand from 8:00PM to 10:00PM Valentines can have a free Lipstick Reading from renowned lipstick reader, Beth Bongar (at Brasserie Les Halles Downtown only). Discover more about you and your Valentines past, personality and destiny as you await your next course. Valentines Day at Les Halles will be a truly fun and sensual experience with great food, romantic setting, and fun entertainment.
The special Valentines Day menu will be served from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight on Saturday, February 14, 2004.
