Vittorio's Restaurant and Wine Bar , announces an exclusive cooking demonstration of comfort foods by Executive Chef John Ringle at the Viking Cooking School/Loaves and Fishes Cookshop in Garden City, on Saturday, October 13 from 12-2pm.
Ringle will demonstrate two popular choices from the Vittorio's menu: crab cakes with mixed field greens drizzled with mango sauce; and shrimp in cognac sauce with saffron risotto. Both recipes are designed for flavor but also to allow more of the chef's time out of the kitchen and at the dining table with guests as the dishes may be made swiftly with 15-20 minutes of prep time.
