Warwick New York Hotel To Host Lavish Christmas Celebrations At Murals On 54 In The Heart Of The City

NEW YORK - Dec. 10, 2012 - The historic Warwick New York Hotel in the heart of New York City invites guests to celebrate the season with a masterfully prepared Christmas Eve Dinner and exuberant Christmas Day Buffet in the festive Murals on 54 restaurant.

Christmas Eve Prix-Fixe Dinner

Christmas Eve Dinner begins with a Mediterranean Small-Plate Buffet featuring Winter Vegetable Caponata, Artichoke-Olive Hummus, White Anchovies in Sherry, and international cheeses. Entr�e choices include holiday favorites Colorado Lamb Chops With Brussels-Sprout Succotash, Roasted Apples and Caramelized Rutabagas; Hazelnut-Crusted Duck Breast With Date Puree, Parsnips and Chorizo Cous Cous Risotto; and Braised Alaskan Halibut with Melted Leeks, Maitake Mushrooms and Grilled Radicchio. Holiday desserts include Warm Red Jacket Apple Cobbler with Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Brioche Bread Pudding With Cr�me Anglaise Sauce, and Mascarpone Candy Cheesecake.

Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. and is priced at $59 per person.

Christmas Day Buffet Brunch

On Christmas Day, Murals on 54 opens its doors from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a magical Christmas buffet. Herb-Crusted Beef Tenderloin and Confit Tomatoes with Bordelaise Sauce, and Alaskan Smoked Halibut with Parmesan Gnocchi, Winter Truffles and Lobster Bouillon, will be served alongside Winter Squash Soup with Toasted Sage Leaves and an extravagant dessert buffet featuring a profusion of holiday favorites, including pastries and tarts. The buffet is priced at $79 per adult and $52 for children ages 6 to 12.
