Welcome Spring With A Grapedrop At John Howie Steak

John Howie Steak Manager David Chou is an eternal optimist and Seattle's recent warm days have inspired him to create an easy drinking cocktail that is a toast to spring - the Grapedrop. Featured as the Happy Hour spirit for April and priced at $7 ($10 regular price), this sweet, yet balanced drink is made with Smirnoff Grape Vodka, Lillet Blanc vermouth, apple juice, triple sec and lime juice. David feels the Lillet, a French grape based aperitif, is a wonderful complement to the aromatics of the grape vodka from Smirnoff. He has added apple and lime juice for balance, with a touch of triple sec for citrus notes.

John Howie Steak is proud to have a cocktail for every palate on their specialty list. The Grapedrop is featured during Happy Hour in the bar Monday through Saturday from 3 - 6 pm and at Happy Hour After Dark Monday through Thursday from 9 - 11 pm, Friday and Saturday from 9 pm to midnight, and Sunday from 3 to 10 pm.
