Winegavel Announces Fist Live Auction In Los Angeles November 13, 2010 At Bazaar Resturant

WineGavel Fine & Rare Wine Auctions launches its first live auction in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 10AM-1:30 PM PDT at The Bazaar Restaurant, headed by world renowned Chef, Jose Andres.

Founded in 2009, WineGavel has opened up the world of fine and rare wines to consumers across the country both online and with live auctions to the West Coast. "We are thrilled to have partnered with The Bazaar and the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills for our first Los Angeles live auction," said Kirk Bairlein, Auction Director at WineGavel Fine and Rare Wines. He continued, "There will be great wines poured from The Bazaar list as well as from our cellar, and certainly do not hesitate to bring some gems from your own collection to share with friends."

The Auction will take place in the Blanca dining room of The Bazaar at 10 a.m. PDT. Bidders who attend the auction will be able to experience the culinary delights of James Beard Award winning chef, Jose Andres, with a lunch menu paired to several featured wines. Great wines from The Bazaar list as well as from WineGavel's cellar will be poured. Lunch is $75 per person all inclusive including corkage, tax and gratuity.

The Menu will include, First Course: serrano ham platter, pan con tomate, sweet potato chips with yogurt, endive salad. Second course: apple and fennel salad, not your everyday caprese, tuna ceviche. Third course: sauteed shrimp with guindilla peppers, croquetas de pollo and brussel sprouts.

The November 13th Auction highlights the quality and diversity of fine wines from around the globe with well over 300 lots to choose from. All of the wines have been thoroughly inspected by the WineGavel team for authenticity and condition and are currently lying in Napa County under perfect storage conditions.
